About Shock Creative
Shock Creative is a designer and a developer who got tired of seeing good businesses let down by slow, forgettable websites. So we build the opposite.
Our story
Shock Creative is a two-person design, development and SEO studio in Leeds. We build websites the way we’d want our own built: fast, easy to find in search and simple to look after, with no jargon along the way.
Between us we cover the whole job: brand and visual design on one side, full-stack development and technical SEO on the other. That means the person who designs your homepage sits next to the person who makes it load in under a second and rank for the right searches.
We keep the studio deliberately small. You’ll never be passed to an account manager or a junior. You get the two people whose names are on the door.
What we believe
01
A beautiful site nobody finds is a cost, not an asset. Search shapes the plan from day one.
02
Lean code, real performance budgets and no bloated page builders.
03
Fixed quotes, honest timelines and no jargon in your inbox.
04
Your domain, your content, your code. No lock-in, ever.
The team
Co-founder · Development & SEO
Ash is a senior full-stack developer based in West Yorkshire, working mainly in Laravel and Vue. He leads development and SEO at Shock Creative, and likes nothing more than a fast, properly built website that turns up in search and wins enquiries.
Looks after design at Shock Creative, from website layouts to logos, brand guidelines and email signatures. Works alongside development from the first sketch, so what gets designed is what gets built.
Where we are
We’re happy to meet in person around West Yorkshire, and just as happy on a video call wherever you are.
